Active Commute 9/17/08
We participated in the Active Commute Celebration on the drillfield Wednesday morning. We spent the morning recruiting new members, getting signatures for the "More Racks for Campus" petition, and networking with other campus organizations. We raised $69 dollars with our raffle by giving away some great commuter gear donated by Bike Barn and East Coasters. We also collected 167 signatures.
T-Shirts
We have group t-shirts! It was a do-it-yourself experience making the first two designs. Email the president if you are interested in ordering a shirt. Bike Advocacy at Virginia Tech is printed on the back of the shirts, and shirts are available in white short sleeved or black long sleeved.
